Expectations for lessons
I ask that students practice 3 to 5 days a week for an agreed upon length of time to ensure progress with lessons.
Repertoire and pedagogy
I want each individual student to enjoy their time at the piano. There are certain method books I use to ensure an understanding of the basics. Once the student is at a level to choose the subject they want to study, I work with them to decide how we will approach their lessons.
Piano requirements the teacher expects the client to fulfill (acoustic vs. digital)
Students must at least have a small keyboard for beginning lessons. As students become more advanced, their instrument will need to correspond with their skill-level.
